Vale of Clwyd MP Dr James Davies will be chairing the first of three online events next month to help local businesses access support to boost their exporting potential, explore new markets and find new international customers.
James is partnering with the Department for International Trade (DIT) in the recently launched Parliamentary Export Programme and is inviting local businesses who wish to find out more about exporting to an online event between 2pm and 3pm on Thursday March 4th.
He said:
“The Parliamentary Export Programme will help equip businesses across the UK with the tools they need to export and grow their businesses internationally.
“Whether a business is new to exporting, has exported in the past or is a current exporter, participating in the programme will equip them with the support and tools they need to begin or continue their exporting journey.
“During the online session, businesses will receive tailored updates from HMRC and the Department for International Trade on exporting after Brexit. They will hear from panellists including a local exporter, an International Trade Adviser and an Export Finance Manager on the guidance and tools available for them to grow their business internationally, taking advantage of the new trade agreements across the world.
“I want to ensure businesses in the Vale of Clwyd access the support on offer and understand the opportunities for growth as the UK forges its way as an independent trading nation.”
